INTERVIEWING NASCAR LEGENDS FOR STEFANIK DOCUMENTARY

I had the honor of spending the weekend in North Carolina with my friend and esteemed historian Tom "Sid" DiMaggio, interviewing legendary figures for his upcoming documentary on NASCAR Hall of Famer Mike Stefanik. We had the privilege of hearing from Mike's fierce competitors, Reggie Ruggiero and Steve Park, car owners Richie Kearns and Mike Greci, and his beloved sister Theresa. 

This weekend's work gave me a deep appreciation for historic preservation and its significance in our sport. Many untold stories about racing legends are still out there, and I was grateful to hear some heartfelt ones this weekend. I hope our community continues to embrace and encourage similar projects so that more stories are captured before it's too late.
